ELS PET's globe claims a lot for its drawer: 12 litres and up to 20 days for one cat, level with PETKIT's Purobot Ultra for the longest one-cat claim among the drums here. Four weight sensors decide when the cat has left, and infrared beams watch the drawer mouth for anything that could be pinched. The company says there is no weight limit; it does not print a maximum.

Best for: Two or three cats where a large drawer matters and price does too
ELS PET says the sensor detects cats from 2.5 lb. At the usual rate of about a pound a month, that means leaving automatic cleaning off until roughly 3 months. Below the threshold, a kitten may not register at all, and the box could start a cycle with it inside.
